About the Voucher
The Digital Grow Voucher is a government-backed grant from your Local Enterprise Office (LEO), replacing the old Trading Online Voucher. It gives small Irish businesses up to €5,000 to invest in software, cloud tools, CRM systems, training and IT set-up.
It covers 50% of eligible costs — so a €10,000 digital project could be half-funded by the state. Businesses can apply for up to two vouchers, with a combined maximum of €5,000.
Eligibility
Most small Irish businesses can apply. Here are the four key criteria to check before you get in touch.
You must have between 1 and 50 paid employees. Sole traders and companies both qualify as long as there is at least one employee.
Your business must be established and trading for at least 6 months. Very early-stage startups are not yet eligible.
You must be registered and operating in an area covered by a Local Enterprise Office — all 31 counties are covered nationwide.
You must have completed a free "Digital for Business" project with your LEO within the last two years. This is the prerequisite step — we can help you start it.
Eligible Spend
The voucher covers new software subscriptions and the training and configuration to make them work for your business.
Customer relationship management software to track leads, manage sales and improve customer service.
Modern cloud-based accounting platforms like Xero, Sage or QuickBooks — new subscriptions only.
Software to sell online and reach new customers through digital storefronts and platforms.
Tools that protect your business data, customer information and digital infrastructure.
Field service management, job tracking and workflow software for trades and service businesses.
IT configuration and staff training costs to integrate new software — up to 50% of the software cost.
How to Apply
The application process is simpler than you think. Most businesses complete it in under two weeks.

Based on the Digital for Business report, decide which software or tools you want to invest in. Get a quote from a provider.
Complete the Grow Digital Voucher application with your financial statements, tax clearance and project details. The online form takes approximately 10 minutes.
Once approved, invest in your chosen digital tools and claim the grant from your LEO. Funding is paid after you incur the cost.
